Cancellations

In a Jist:  

 

48 hrs prior to Start of rental period

Refund of 50% of rental fee and 100% of security deposit

Within 48 hrs of Start of rental period

Zero refund of rental fee, 100% refund of security deposit

 

On booking of an item the customer pays a rental fee and security deposit.  

If the rental booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to your delivery time you will be eligible for a 50% refund of your rental fee and full security deposit.  We will process this refund asap for you to receive the credit.

If the rental booking is cancelled within 48hrs prior to start of delivery time we will unfortunately not be able to refund any of the rental fees. This is due to the fact that on receiving your booking we block the inventory for you for the selected rental period and this is not made available to anyone else for that period. Ofcourse the refund of your security deposit will be processed asap enable you to receive that money back.  

Returns

Due to non-availability of customer or his immediate family (age 18 years and above) to receive the product

On delivery of the product at the specified time and delivery location or alternate time and/or alternate delivery location as agreed with the customer, if the customer, their immediate family members (age 18 years and above) or authorised representative (as intimated in written to the customer helpdesk of the website prior to delivery) are not available to receive the product within 15 minutes of the Yopik delivery associate reaching the delivery location, the delivery associate will be free to leave and would have fulfilled Yopik.in's obligation to delvier/pickup the product rented by the customer. If the delviery or pick up needs to happen a further time it will be chargeable at Rs.50 for each trip. If a further delviery is not requested by the customer the order will be treated as cancelled and the refund shall be porcessed as per the cancellation policy of Yopik.in 

Due to non-working condition of the product during the rental period

If the product is not working, You are responsible to notify us as soon as this comes to your attention. We will attempt to resolve the problem and get the product to start and/or will send our product associate to examine the item.

If the product is not working (barring due to any damage or actions caused at customer’s end) we will take the product back and refund the rental payment for the period you have rented the item.

We will not be responsible for any loss, damage, suffering or any consequences arising due to the non-working condition of the product.

Amendments to your order

If the number of days of rental are being looked to increase, there is no amendment charge. If the product is available for the further days you seek we can extend the rent period on payment of the applicable additional rental fee.

If the number of days of rental are being looked to be shortened and if the request is received 48hrs prior to the days looked to be shortened, 50% of the rental fee for the days being shortened will be refunded.  The security deposit will be processed as per the normal procedure of Yopik.in of receiving the product, ascertaining the return condition and accordingly refunding the security deposit.

If the number of days or rental are being looked to be shortened and if the request is within 48 hrs of the days looked to be shortened, unfortunately no rental fees will be refunded. The secuirty deposit will be processed as per the normal procedure of Yopik.in of receiving the product, ascertaining the condition and accordingly refunding the security deposit.
